Choose the type of cannabis ingredient you are adding to your gummy recipe.

THC Gummies Dosage Guide

THC per Gummy Strength
1–2.5 mg Microdose
2.5–5 mg Low Dose
5–10 mg Moderate Dose
10–25 mg Strong Dose
25+ mg Very Strong

How This Calculator Works

This calculator estimates the THC dosage per gummy based on the cannabis ingredient used and the total number of gummies made.

For cannabis flower, this calculator assumes approximately 80% infusion efficiency. For concentrates, it calculates THC directly from the product’s labeled potency. Actual potency may vary.

Example Calculation

If you use 1 gram of concentrate at 85% THC in a batch of 50 gummies, the calculation is:

1 × 1,000 × 85% = 850 mg THC total

850 mg ÷ 50 gummies = 17 mg THC per gummy

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use to make THC gummies?

Common options include cannabis flower infusions, distillate, RSO, FECO, tincture, infused coconut oil, infused butter, or infused glycerin.

Should I use ounces for infused oil or tincture?

Yes. For easiest results, enter both the total infusion made and the amount used in the recipe in ounces.

Are concentrate gummies easier to calculate?

Usually, yes. Concentrates often come with a labeled THC percentage, making it easier to estimate total milligrams.

Why is gummy dosage only an estimate?

Actual potency depends on flower testing accuracy, decarboxylation, infusion method, straining loss, concentrate accuracy, recipe measurements, and how evenly THC is mixed into the batch.
